We are committed to wildlife conservation, particularly for the endangered white rhino. Our journey began in South Africa with two rhinos on private land. In the past two years, we've expanded our efforts to Namibia, relocating nine white rhinos to our private ranch in the north.

Ever Pet a Rhino?

While it sounds a little crazy, you can have the opportunity to do just that and so much more!  First For Rhinos is having a raffle where the first three names that are drawn, each winner will have the opportunity to bring three guests to travel to the Limpopo Province of South Africa with them and join the First for Rhinos Team for an amazing up close and personal encounter with an iconic white rhino. Each group of four will visit First for Rhinos exclusive of the other two groups. That’s right, this is your group’s exclusive visit to First for Rhinos assuring you will have the undivided attention of our staff for the duration of your visit! Upon your arrival at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, you will be warmly greeted and whisked away to a beautiful and comfortable private lodge where you will enjoy 4 days and 5 nights soaking up the enchantment which is Africa.

While at the lodge you will experience the charm of South African hospitality while you enjoy regional cuisine and some of your traditional favorites.  Each day you will experience a game drive through the vast ranch where you will encounter a wide variety of animals that have made Africa so enticing.  While on the game drives, you will also be searching for one or more of the many White Rhinos that live here in a safe and secure environment.

What about petting a rhino, you wonder?  Well, that is the really exciting part of your adventure.  During your stay at the ranch, one day will include you and your guests experiencing a key part of our ongoing rhino conservation program.  Working with a professional veterinarian, you will witness firsthand the darting, tranquillizing, and medical examination of one of our rhinos.  You will get to touch and feel the rhino as the veterinarian takes blood samples and gathers information to ensure the rhino’s complete health.  In addition, the rhino will be fitted with a tracking device.  Following this quick checkup, you will witness the rhino waking from its nap and rejoining the others.  Before the rhino awakes, however, we will make sure you get your picture taken with this iconic animal. This is truly an experience like no other!

Included in this once-in-a-lifetime experience are:  Transfers from and to OR Tambo Airport, lodging, meals, soft drinks, beer, house wines, daily laundry service, daily game drives, and the one-day rhino conservation experience.

Not included are: Flights to and from South Africa (OR Tambo International), lodging and meals before or after your stay, and gratuities for our staff.

Prize inclusions and dates are subject to availability and are fully changeable at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to make adjustments or substitutions to the itinerary as necessary.

 

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

 

By entering the Promotion, participants are deemed to accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
